CCAT - Our Team

Tom Amiro

Now retired, Tom worked as a tech writer, programmer and test engineer at Computervision and Sun Microsystems. Tom has four grandchildren, solar panels, 2 EVs and heat pumps. Recently he installed a home backup battery, inverter, and solar panels on a flat roof and in the back yard. Tom is one of the founding members.

Bern Kosicki

Bern is a physicist retired from MIT Lincoln Labs, and is also a member of Union of Concerned Scientists and the Sierra Club. An amateur astronomer, he was a volunteer teacher of astronomy in primary and middle school for over a decade. Bern is a founding member and also serves on the town's Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee.

Kathy Cryan-Hicks

Before she retired, Kathy worked at the Chelmsford Library as Assistant Director of Programming and Community Services. When she's not saving the planet, she's having fun writing, painting, and, most of all, enjoying her granddaughters. Kathy is a founding member of CCAT. She is also a member of Elders Climate Action, Learning in Retirement Association (LIRA), and the Chelmsford Art Society.

Anne Richards

Anne Richards

Anne Richards grew up in a semi-rural part of northern NJ but has been a New Englander since 2001. She is a veterinarian at two local feline-only practices and is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Cornell University. She loves driving her EV and recently had solar panels installed at her home. In her free time, she enjoys converting her lawn areas to gardens with an emphasis on native plants, as well as walking, lifting weights, playing and watching hockey, and backcountry canoe camping.

Jane Mosier

Jane retired after a career first as a Usability Engineer and then as a Special Educator, with some joyful time in between raising kids. She wants to live in a world in which the environment and the energy are clean, and so she works to make that happen with CCAT, Mothers Out Front and the Elders Climate Action Plastic Working Group. She also finds joy and laughter whenever she can with friends and family, through shared meals and games, and by spending time in nature.
