What we don’t eat hurts us

You probably thought this was going to be about food waste. Not quite. In our What You Can Do -> Action Items section, we say eat less meat and eat food that contributes the lowest supply chain GHGs. All good, But there is a sad reality of which you should be aware. Do you know how the US uses the corn it grows? 40% goes for ethanol, 30% goes for feedstock, and most of the remainder is shipped out of the country for various uses.
